Welcome to Unusual Ideas!
Hi, my name is Wong Yew Mun. Welcome to the world of Unusual Ideas. First, I want to thank my brother and sister for their contribution to Unusual Ideas. In our website, you will see the word ‘I’ being used most of the time as not to confuse the reader. Yes, I may be the one who came up with new, interesting and unusual ideas. In reality, I need my siblings to apply my ideas to their students too. With a larger pool of students, we can fine tune our teaching and strategies better.
What triggers the 3 of us to work so hard to come up with so many interesting teaching techniques?
Our father is a super-involved parent in our studies. However, he advocates rote-learning, using a cane when we got the wrong answers. When I was studying in Australia for my tertiary education, I thought there must be a better way. I began to surf the internet, read books, learn foreign languages. That is how Unusual Ideas was born.
We cannot include everything in our website. Some enriching activities like visiting the Handicap Welfare Association (though not academic) will be set up in our blog. Alternatively, you can always contact us via email or phone.
Remember our Vision Statement. Parents are grateful to us not only because we help children to score A with a shining star but as a shining example of how we can all contribute to other people’s lives, and at the same time, enrich ours too.

Why do I claim myself as a good student? Very simple, I put in a lot of effort to learn how to fold different types of paper planes. It may not be as easy as it looks. One thing the learner has to bear in mind is neatness. The plane has to be symmetrical.
Why don’t you give me your comments about how much I have learn from my master?
